CALCUTTA -- Sophomore McKenzie Ash shot a 36 in leading the Beaver Local girls golf team past Edison, 172-184, Wednesday at Beaver Creek Meadows.
Brenna Jones contributed a 41, Addison Hoppel 45 and Emy Druschel 50.
BEAVER 162, FITCH 168
CALCUTTA -- The Beaver Local boys golf team defeated Austintown Fitch, 162-168, Wednesday at Beaver Creek Meadows.
Eli Stewart shot a 1-under-par 35 to take top honors for the Beavers. Britton Hickman added a 40, Nathan Pusateri 43 and Andre Wiegand 44.
Beaver Local (13-2) will host East Liverpool and Weir at 3:30 p.m. today.
