EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Beaver Local boys golf team topped East Liverpool, 171-189, Tuesday at the East Liverpool Country Club.
Eli Stewart had a low round o 40 for the Beavers. Britton Hickman added a 42, Andre Wiegand 44 and Brady McNear 45.
The Beavers improve to 4-2 and will play Oak Glen at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Mountaineer Woodview.
CRESTVIEW 176, GARFIELD 179
CALCUTTA -- The Crestview boys golf edged Garfield, 176-179, Tuesday at Beaver Creek Meadows.
Derek Duvall led the Rebels with a 38. Grant Snyder followed with a 45, Landon Hildreth 46 and Dom Dillon 47.
Garfield got 43s from Broden Neal and Ollie McMayon.
Crestview will play Champion today at Bristolwood.
MARLINGTON 180, SALEM 211
SALEM -- Ben Warner’s 39 led the Marlington boys golf team past Salem, 180-211, Tuesday at Salem Hills.
For the Quakers, Eli James had a 48, Cain Arcuri 49 and Donald Blacburn 51.
Salem is 2-7 overall and 1-6 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference. Salem will host West Branch on Thursday.
COLUMBIANA 185, WEST BRANCH 198
SALEM -- Columbiana captured a 185-198 victory over West Branch in boys golf action Monday at Flying B.
Luke Struharik had the low round with a 43 for the Clippers. David Masters added a 45, Nick Klindworth 48 and Preston Lawton 49.
For West Branch, Bennett Biggs had a 44, Karson Fuson 48 and Colton Ghezzi and Ashton Clay added 53s.
BEAVER 177, UNITED 190
MINERVA -- The Beaver Local girls golf team topped United, 177-190, Tuesday at Edgewater.
Mckenzie Ash paced the Beavers with a 41. Mya Anderson and Addison Hoppel had 45s and Brenna Jones a 46.
