UNITY — Freshman Madison Aegerter earned her first victory Monday, throwing a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and two walks in United’s 23-0 five-inning win over East Palestine at Ace of Diamonds.
Aegerter also homered and singled. Chloe Angelo had three doubles, a single and four RBIS for the winners. Callie Koons had a single, double and three RBIs. Jillian Dietrich and Payten Kekel had doubles.
Kennedy Andre took the loss with two strikeouts and five walks in five innings.
United (1-2) will host Malvern today.
East Palestine is 2-1 and will be at United on Wednesday.

LEETONIA — Southern smacked 20 hits in a 22-5 win over Leetonia on Monday in five innings.
Destiny Huffman had two triples, a double and single for Southern along with three RBIs. Raelea Carosiello added two doubles, two singles and three RBIs. Makenna Jones had four hits including two doubles and four RBIs. Aubree Pucci had three hits and two RBIs.
Payton Gray had a triple, single and an RBI for the Bears.
Addy Martin was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and four walks in five innings. Laniya Dubose took the loss with 12 earned runs given up in 3 1/3 innings. She also had five walks and three strikeouts.
Leetonia (0-3) hosts Campbell today.
Southern is 1-4 and will be at East Canton today.

COLUMBIANA — Gia Depace and Makayla McKee homered as Crestview downed Brookfield 7-3 on Monday in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference softball play.
Aliva Shetler added a single, triple and four RBIs for the Rebels. Cassidee Buckley had a double.
Lilly Beaver was the winning pitcher with four walks and four strikeouts over six innings.
Crestview (3-1) is at Brookfield today.

LISBON — Lisbon pounded out 23 hits in a 22-6 win over Wellsville in five innings on Monday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.
Aria Reckner led the charge with four hits and four RBIs. Sofia Brown had two doubles, a single and two RBIs. Brooklyn Dailey added a double, two singles and five RBIs. Abby Ammon had three hits and two RBIs. Emelia Cook had three hits and two RBIs. Lexi Roush had an RBI double.
Kamryn Peruchetti was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts and three walks.
Makayla Landess had two hits for the Tigers. Madelyn Landess was the losing pitcher with four walks and two strikeouts in two innings.
Lisbon is 2-2 and will be at Columbiana today.
Wellsville is 2-2 and will host Lisbon on Wednesday.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Brenna Jones hit a go-ahead inside-the-park home run with two outs in the sixth as Beaver Local beat Letcher County Central (Kentucky) 5-3 on Monday.
Addie Thurik added two hits and an RBI while striking out 12 and walking five in the circle.
Beaver Local (5-1) will meet Lawrence County (Kentucky) at 3:45 p.m. today.

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool’s softball team got a single and double from Tatum Fink in a 5-1 win over Steubenville Central on Monday at Patterson Field.
Rayne Faessel added two hits and was the winning pitcher with 15 strikeouts and two walks.
Faessel and Alanna McGonigal had triples. Hitting doubles for the Potters were Nayana Monteiro and Trinity Pearson.

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — Brayley Lash had four hits including a home run with two RBIs as Oak Glen ripped Wheeling Central Catholic 11-3 on Monday.
Nevaeh Heath had two doubles and three RBIs for the Bears (5-3). Mattie Carney added two hits including a triple and an RBI. Macy Hartung had two hits and two RBIs.
Carney was the winning pitcher with five strikeouts and two walks.
