COLUMBIANA — After scoring nine runs in the seventh inning Wednesday, the Crestview Rebels put up 11 more Thursday in an 11-3 win over Newton Falls to complete the series sweep.

A fouled off bunt helped spark a six-run second inning that put the Rebels on their way. Cloutier led off with a single over the first-base bag and advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Addison Fitch.

Lily Beaver followed with an RBI single just over the shortstop’s glove, Shetler hit a two-run single down the third base line and Miller walked to load the bases again.

Depace drove in the Rebels’ fourth run with a fielder’s choice and Makayla McKee walked to load the bases for the third time of the inning. One run scored on a wild pitch and another on the throw to the pitcher covering home plate on the plate, giving the Rebels a 6-0 lead that held up.
