EAST LIVERPOOL — Beaver Local got a home run and two RBIs from Ciara Call in an 8-1 win over East Liverpool on Friday at Patterson Field.

Brenna Jones added two hits including a double with an RBI. Addie Thurik had a double.

Mya Anderson mastered the Potters with five strikeouts and four walks in the complete game effort.

Beaver Local is 4-1 and will begin a Myrtle Beach trip on Monday.

Kylee Evans had a double and single for the Potters. Tatum Fink was the losing pitcher with 11 strikeouts and four walks in seven innings.

East Liverpool (1-2) is scheduled to host Wellsville Saturday.

Toronto 19, Wellsville 9

TORONTO — Toronto had seven extra base hits in a 19-9 rout of Wellsville on Friday.

Wellsville falls to 2-1.

For the Tigers, Aleena Owens had a single, double and three RBIs. Rylee Brown had a double and two RBIs. Madelyn Drysdale had a double.

Makayla Landess had two strikeouts and three walks in 5 1/3 innings.
