Wellsville topples Mooney

CANFIELD — Wellsville’s bowling team produced a 1,799-1,515 win over Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday at Amron Lanes.

For the Tigers (14-1), Madelyn Landess had a 190 high game and a 324 series. Makayla Landess added a 186 high game and a 358 series. William Lockhart ad a 157 high game and a 306 series.

The Tigers host Youngstown Chaney on Thursday.

Crestview sweeps Liberty

NILES — The Crestview bowling teams picked up a sweep of Liberty on Wednesday at McKinley Lanes.

The Crestview boys rolled to a 2,011-1,403 victory. Peyton Mellott led the Rebels with a 190 high game and 342 series. Milton Scott added a 313 series, while Chris Johnson rolled a 310 series and Brody Brubaker contributed a 285 series.

In the girls match, Crestview edged Liberty 1,596-1,576.

Lyv Barnett led the Rebels with a 155 high game and 282 series. Kylee Wolfe followed with a 271 series, Blasey Biser added a 250 series, and Nikki Kernich chipped in with a 217 series.
