ZOARVILLE — Fourth-ranked Byesville Meadowbrook is just getting started.

The top-seeded Colts won their eighth match in a row by a sweep, 25-13, 25-19, 25-5 over fifth-seeded East Liverpool in a Division IV district final Thursday at Tuscarawas Valley High School.

East Liverpool wraps up its season at 17-8.

Leaders for the Potters were Kamryn Yanni with three kills and 12 assists, Ava Green 12 kills, Presley Jones three kills, Kendall Martin two kills and two blocks, and Hailey Board one ace, one kill and three blocks.

Meadowbrook improves to 22-2 and and will meet River View in regional semifinal at 6 p.m. Thursday at Pickerington North High School. River View knocked off third-seeded Beaver Local in another district final Thursday. Meadowbook beat River View in five games on Sept. 16.
