SALEM — The Salem Athletic Department has announced new guidelines for Friday night varsity football games at Sebo Stadium, effective Oct. 17.

All elementary students (grades K-6) attending games must be accompanied by an adult and are required to sit in the home stands throughout the evening. Junior high and high school students (grades 7-12) must also remain in the home stands or in the student section near the Reilly School end of the stadium.

Students in grades K-12 will not be permitted to congregate in concession areas, restrooms, the ticket booth area or behind the home stands or student section.

Certain items will also be prohibited, including bookbags, sports equipment, skateboards, bikes, scooters, vaping, smoking and alcoholic materials. Students found violating these rules will be denied entry. Camera bags, diaper bags and purses will still be allowed.
