LORDSTOWN — Seniors Maddox Roach from East Liverpool and Hannah Ruberto from Beaver Local captured their respective races in Suburban League cross country action Tuesday at Lordstown Village Park.

Roach swept all three Suburban League races so far, covering the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 43 seconds.

Ruberto won her second Suburban League race of the season, topping the girls in 20:51.

Beaver Local swept the team titles by winning the boys (38 points) and girls (26 points).

The Suburban League Championships will be held next Tuesday at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
