Rebels ‘arrr’ perfect
COLUMBIANA — Crestview kept its unbeaten record going with a 42-0 drubbing of the Ravenna Southeast Pirates on Friday.
Crestview is 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference Gray Division. The Rebels head to Brookfield on Friday.
Crestview had 477 total yards of offense with 331 coming by run and 146 by the pass. Jake Noling had 85 yards rushing with two touchdowns. He also completed 8 of 15 passes for 131 yards and two scores.
Mikey Proctor added 73 rushing yards and a touchdown. Caidyn McElaney caught a 55-yard touchdown pass, while Ethan Kane had four catches for 55 yards. Colton Webber added a touchdown reception and Trevor McElhaney had a 10-yard touchdown run.
Kyle Booth had an interception on defense.
Southeast fell to 2-3 and 1-1. The Pirates will be at Garrettsville Garfield on Friday.

COLUMBIANA — Hayes McCoy threw three touchdown passes, including one on the first play of the game, as Coumbiana blanked Leetonia, 35-0, in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play Friday.
Senator Johnson opened the scoring by taking a swing pass from McCoy on the first play, shaking a tackle, making a move and racing 57 yards for a quick score. at dry Fisher Stadium
Danny Mangiarelli scored on an 8-yard run and Johnson added a 20-yard touchdown from McCoy to put the Clippers up 21-0 at halftime.
They added two more scores in the third quarter — a 5-yard run by Lucas Barber and a 29-yard catch by Devin Brode on the final play of the period.
The Clippers held the Bears to two first downs.
Leetonia quarterback Dylan Johns completed eight of 20 passes for 72 yards with no interceptions. Brayden Gainey had five catches for 58 yards.
Columbiana improves to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the EOAC, while Leetonia drops to 2-3 and 0-2.
Both teams play next Friday as Columbiana hosts Southern and Leetonia entertains United.

BELOIT — It was the Jeremiah Thomas and Grady Hirst show on Friday as West Branch pounded Howland 48-7.
The Warriors are 4-1 and will head to Minerva on Friday.
Thomas caught 15 balls for 241 yards and four touchdowns. The 15 catches ties a school record also set by Joey Jackson. The 241 yards is a school record and the four touchdown receptions ties a school record.
Hirst completed 24 of 30 passes for 323 yards and four touchdowns. Gavin Marshall led the rushing attack with seven carries for 62 yards.
Jackson Shinn had a fumble recovery, while Lukas Black had six tackles.

St. Clairsville 45, East Liverpool 0
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — St. Clairsville jumped out to a 28-point lead in the first quarter and beat East Liverpool, 45-0, Friday.
The Red Devils have won four straight to improve to 4-1. The Potters lost their fourth in a row to drop to 1-4.
St. Clairsville was highlighted by three Sam McLean touchdown passes in the first half — a 72-yarder to Jaxon Starks, a 10-yarder to Luke Schafer and a 62-yarder to Matheson King.
Ollie Muhly scored the first touchdown on a 9-yard run and the Red Devils returned two interceptions for scores.
McLean finished 6-of-8 passing for 168 yards and three touchdowns for the Red Devils, who had a 181-118 advantage in total yards.
Topping the Potters were Amir Baker with 44 yards on 12 carries and Tamar Tisdale with 35 yards on seven carries.
The Potters had four turnovers, including three interceptions.
Both teams play next Friday as East Liverpool hosts Cambrige and St. Clairsville travels to Wheeling Park.
