COLUMBIANA — Columbiana posted a 156-163 win over Springfield on Tuesday.

For the Clippers, Trenton Hall had a 37, David Masters 39, Nick Klindworth 40 and Luke Struharik 40.

Jackson Ensley had a 37 to lead Springfield.

Columbiana is 13-4 and will play in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference tournament on Thursday at Salem Hills.

Lisbon 190, East Liverpool Christian 194

LISBON — Lisbon slipped past East Liverpool Christian 190-194 in golf action Tuesday at Historic Highlands Golf Course.

Logan Sturgeon led Lisbon with a 46. Brady Chamberlain and Zach Johnson each carded 47, while Mason Jones shot 50 and Aiden Myers 51.

For East Liverpool Christian, Levi Williams shot a team-best 44, followed by Noah Williams with 46, Lucas Balser 50, Landon Kelly 54, Nathan Stewart 55 and Kinsey Smith 62.

East Liverpool Christian will return to Historic Highlands on Wednesday to face Oak Glen, Wellsville and East Liverpool.

Southern wins two

BELOIT — Southern Local’s girls golf team improved to 8-6 with a win over Heartland and United on Wednesday at Westville Lake Golf Course.

Southern Local carded a team score of 186, led by Kaitlyn Boston with a 43. Lola Perfetto and Rylee Digman each shot 45, Alyssa Deeley 53 and Ella Roberts 63.

United finished second with a 200, paced by Claire Whetstone 48, Emma Murphy 49, Alaina Brewer 51 and Jillian Dietrich 52. Heartland posted a 203, with Lila Hendershott leading at 42, followed by Khloe Shodd 46, Selah Ciardi 55, Kalleigh Shodd 60 and Aubrey Morgan 60.

Southern Local will travel to Hudson on Thursday for its next match.

Jackson-Milton 178, Salem 181

SALEM — Jackson-Milton edged Salem 178-181 on Tuesday at Salem Hills.

Eli James led Salem with a 42, followed by Caden Arcuri with 43, Donald Blackburn 47 and Tanner James 49. For Jackson-Milton, Blake Hacendonery shot 42, Jackson Harnner and Brady Anton each carded 45, and Colton Elliott added 46.

The Quakers dropped to 8-8 overall. Salem will host Beaver Local on Thursday at Salem Hills.
