EAST LIVERPOOL — Mikey Druschel shot a 40 in leading Beaver Local past East Liverpool, 175-207, Monday at the East Liverpool Country Club.

Britton Hickman followed with a 44, Nathan Pusateri 45 and Owen Hill and Andre Wiegand had 46s

The Beavers improve to 11-1 and will play Salem at Salem Hills on Thursday.

Minerva 168, Rootstown 182

ROOTSTOWN — The Minerva girls golf team capped a 16-0 regular season with a 168-182 win over Rootstown at Sunny Hill Golf Course.

Minerva freshman Savanna Bartley led the way with a career-best 41. Emery Sell and Delaney Sell added 42s and Hannah Kirkpatrick 43.

The Lions will compete in the Massillon Invitatonal on Thursday and the Stark County Championships on Saturday. Both events are at the Legends of Massillon.
