Rebels in Division VI

COLUMBUS — Crestview is the only area football team changing divisions this fall.

The Rebels will drop to Division VI, according to new divisional breakdowns released by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on Thursday

Optimist Meet on Saturday

AUSTINTOWN — The 44th Optimist Track and Field Meet will be held Saturday at Austintown Fitch High School.

The field events will start at 9 a.m. with the 3200-meter run at 9:15 a.m. The rest of the running events will begin at 10:15 a.m. All races will be timed finals.

Leetonia HOF nominations

LEETONIA — The Leetonia Athletic Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the Class of 2025 through May 31. Induction of new members will be held Aug. 29-30. Nomination forms are available on the school website www.leetonia.k12.oh.us and the administration office.
