POLAND — Salem’s girls track team outdistanced the field on Saturday at the Poland Invitational.

The Quakers scored 105 points to edge second-place McDonald in the team standings.

Abby Knickerbocker grabbed a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash (1:01.55), while Maggie Hall took first in the 3200 (11:30.8) for the Quakers. In the field events, Peyton Colbert won the high jump with a clearance of 4 feet, 10 inches.

The 400 relay team of Angie Hoffaker, Knickerbocker, Karlie Sampson and Hailey Morgan finished first in 52.27 while the 800 relay team of Sampson, Knickerbocker, Hoffaker and Madolyn Gorby also took first in 1:51.64.

In the boys competition, Salem’s Lucas Adams finsihed first in the long jump (19-10.25). Crestview’s Braydon Gilbert won the high jump as well (6-0).
