ALLIANCE — Salem suffered a 9-5 setback against Marlington on Tuesday.

Colin Riesen went 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Quakers, while Braydon Van Dyne had a single and triple.

Salem is 1-13 and 0-7 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference. The Quakers will host Marlington today.

Minerva 7, Salem 0

SALEM — Salem’s softball team suffered a 7-0 loss against Minerva on Tuesday.

Morgane Blaine had a two hits including a double for Salem.

Emilee Lewis took the loss with three strikeouts and six walks in three innings.

Salem is 8-11-1 and 2-4-1 in the EBC.

Salem is at East Palestine today.
