HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Oak Glen piled on the wins on Thursday during opening round action at the West Virginia State Wrestling Tournament at Marshall Health Arena.

Seven of the eight Golden Bears won their opening matches by pin to advance.

Jordan Tomsic (106 pounds), Aiden Anderson (113), Wyatt Wolanski (132), Logan Graham (138), Hayden Lamb (144), Greg Sauers (190) and Noah Schmidt (285) are all onto today’s championship quarterfinals.

As a team the Golden Bears scored 28 points and sit third behind Point Pleasant (32.5) and Williamstown (29).

Quarterfinals and consolations will start at 11:30 a.m. today. The second session is set for 7:30 p.m. with semifinal matches and third round consolation matches.
