ATWATER -- The Waterloo girls soccer team won its fifth straight match and improved to 10-1-1 on the season by downing Crestview, 6-4, Monday.
Brianna DiCross scored three goals for Crestview. Isabella Novak collected a goal (PK) and one assist for the Rebels and Trista Griffith also had an assist. Katie MacKay had one assist and made 14 saves in goal.
Crestview drops to 4-5-2.
Both teams host matches Thursday with Crestview vs. LaBrae and Waterloo vs. Columbiana.
Columbiana 3, United 2
HANOVERTON -- Columbiana's girls soccer team turned the tables on United on Monday.
After dropping a game against the Eagles earlier in the season at the Ward Athletic Complex, Columbiana stunned United 3-2.
Annah Clemmer led the way with three goals for the Clippers, while Ellie Venezia and Ella Dota had assists. Kyla Hogan had seven saves.
Beaver Local 4, Indian Creek 0
CALCUTTA -- Beaver Local's girls soccer team handled Indian Creek 4-0 on Monday in an OVAC Class 4A quarterfinal.
Beaver Local was led by Peyton Dunn's four goals. Alexis Lasure and Lora Reeder had assists. Sophia Smith had four saves.
The Beavers, the third seed, will visit St. Clairsville, the second seed, on Wednesday in the semifinal.
Oak Glen 4, East Liverpool 1
NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. -- Oak Glen scored three goals in the second half to beat East Liverpool 4-1 in an OVAC Class 4A girls soccer quarterfinal on Monday.
Oak Glen (5-6-3) will travel to Weir on Wednesday for the semifinal.
St. Clairsville 2, East Liverpool 1
ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- Carson Hendershot and Luke Swan scored to lead St. Clairsville to a 2-1 win over East Liverpool in an OVAC Class 4A boys soccer quarterfinal on Monday.
St. Clairsville will travel to Beaver Local on Wednesday for the semifinal.
West Branch 1, Berkshire 1
BELOIT -- West Branch tied Berkshire 1-1 on Monday in girls soccer action. West Branch is 5-2-4.
