WEST POINT–Hoppel’s annual Championship Rodeo is set for June 30 and July 1 at Hoppel’s Arena at 40891 state Route 518.

On Friday night which serves as Veteran’s Night, all veterans get in free with a military ID. On Saturday night there will be a fireworks display following the performance.

This year’s rodeo will showcase talented rodeo athletes from around the country,who will compete in a variety of events such as bull riding, roping, bronc riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing. The rodeo will also feature a performance from country singer Chance Danison, trick rider Shelby Clift, and rodeo clown Craig Miller.

“We’re excited to bring back the Annual Hoppel’s Championship Rodeo for another year of thrilling rodeo events and family fun,” said Patty Hoppel, event organizer. “Our rodeo is not just about showcasing the skills and talents of rodeo athletes, but also about bringing the community together for a memorable experience.”

In addition to the eight rodeo events, attendees can also enjoy live music, mechanical bull rides, food vendors, shopping at the apparel and accessory tent,and a ride on a real Brahman bull.

“The Annual Hoppel’s Championship Rodeo is an event for the whole family to enjoy, with something for everyone to experience,” said Patty Hoppel. “We invite everyone to come and experience the excitement of our outdoor rodeo.”

Tickets are $12 in advance for each night. At the gate, tickets are $15 for children ages 3-12 and seniors 65+. Adult gate tickets are $20.
