EAST LIVERPOOL --The Kiwanis Club of East Liverpool is having an arm wrestling tournament fundraiser starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Destiny House Church in Calcutta. The event is open to the community. There will be a 50/50, Chinese auction, and food concessions. If you bring a bag of non-perishable foods (such as cereal, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and sauce, canned vegetable and fruits, peanut butter & jelly, etc). you will receive an extra Chinese auction ticket.
The food items will be donated to Destiny House Church to help them with their monthly food giveaway. This fundraiser will assist the Kiwanis in community projects. If you have any questions, please call President Brian Vaughn at 330-831-5754.

YOUNGSTOWN (AP) -- Dwayne Cohill scored 19 points as Youngstown State beat UT Martin 90-72 on Wednesday night.
Cohill also contributed five assists for the Penguins (2-0). Malek Green scored 12 points and added eight rebounds. Garrett Covington recorded 12 points and was 4-of-13 shooting (2 for 6 from distance).
K.J. Simon finished with 19 points and two steals for the Skyhawks (0-2). UT Martin also got 13 points and four assists from Jordan Sears. Parker Stewart also put up 11 points and two steals.
