ALLIANCE -- Gavin Wilms threw a complete-game one-hitter on 129 pitches as Salem knocked off Alliance 2-1 on Tuesday in Eastern Buckeye Conference action.
Wilms added a single, double and scored a run. Jackson Johnson and Corey Riesen had a hit and RBI each.
Salem (9-3 and 4-3 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference) will host Alliance today.
