MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Oak Glen High School graduate Skye Stokes and the West Virginia University volleyball team are heading into the home stretch of the season.
The Mountaineers are 14-7 and 4-6 in the Big 12 and have a home series with Kansas on Thursday and Friday night before traveling to Howard University on Nov. 12. The Mountaineers close out the regular season home slate by hosting Texas Tech on Nov. 18 and 19. The final two regular season matches will be at TCU on Nov. 26 and 27.
Stokes, who also played at East Liverpool High School, has played 21 matches and 71 sets for the Mountaineers. She has 48 points and 13 kills with 35 aces. On the defensive side she has 175 digs and a serve reception rate of .985.
