Columbiana shuts out East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE — Columbiana’s football team continued its recent success against East Palestine with a 34-0 win over the Bulldogs on Friday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.

The Clippers (1-1, 1-1) defeated the Bulldogs 82-0 last season.

East Palestine falls to to 0-2, 0-2. East Palestine has been shutout seven times in the last 12 games.

Mike Seeger led the Clippers with 12 carries for 78 yards and a 22-yard touchdown catch. Brady Dixon had five carries for 55 yards and two touchdowns.

All scoring was done in the first half.

Tony Kocanjer had a short touchdown run and a punt return for a score for the Clippers.

Columbiana hosts Valley Christian next Friday. East Palestine is at Southern on Friday.
