Editor: On Feb. 13, 2016, Center Township suffered the loss of its building and all of its equipment, except for the backhoe and police cruiser, to a fire. The Board of Center Township went to work with the help of our community and completely rebuilt our township. Now we have a wonderful new building. The theme for the 2017 Victims of Crime campaign is “Strength, Resilience, Justice.” For Sexual Assault month it is “Engaging New Voices.” Though these two campaigns are separate, their themes intertwine into a unified message: Victims cannot receive justice without the strength of the community.
