Salem Hunting Club: Thanks for scholarship support

To the editor: Thank you everyone who supported in any way the success of the 17th annual Lowell Iden Memorial Breakfast and Trap Shoot. The Salem Hunting Club hosted this event on Aug. 1 This year we gave four Lowell Iden-Larry Iler Scholarships to local students. We are proud to honor, in their memory, these two men for which this award is named. They were both past presidents of the club. To the editor: No one ever wants to receive bad news from their doctor. But for many Ohioans living with cancer and their loved ones — like so many of my loved ones and friends — this scenario is all too real. To the editor: I know for many people this subject doesn't cross their mind. But for myself it is on my mind every day. I watch the US news and the Canadian news to see if their has been any word on the border opening. I live in Lisbon (Guilford Lake) and my fiancee' lives in Windsor, Ontario which is four hours from here. I haven’t been able to him in person since March 15. During times of turmoil, trust in the Lord

To the editor: I have been thinking about all the things that have happened in the last four months. The virus and all the new words I have learned like "virtual," "stay at home," "the new normal," and so many others. What has gotten into us? We have protests for almost anything.
