To the editor:

Columbiana County veterans will soon be losing a great public servant when Joe Cattell retires. Joe has served at the Columbiana County Veterans Service Commission since retiring from a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force.

​Joe treats every veteran with respect and has been a key figure in improving the quality of life for hundreds of our local veterans. Of course, his dedication makes life better for their families and friends as well.
