Politically selective land of law and order?

To the editor:

SCOFFLAW --The definition of Scofflaw is simply, "scoffing at the law." If you haven't heard of the word, you're excused. The city of New York is credited with the creation of the word identifying those who violated the law with impunity. Cars parked illegally wore wheel locks when the cops were faster than the illegals, but the illegals often won. Thus, the word Scofflaw came into being.

Judge Pirr referred to Title 18, Section 1507 of the U.S. Code in a TV interview recently. She was upset about the Justice Department not safeguarding the Justices of the Supreme Court. I was curious so I looked up the U.S. Code she referred to. Sure enough, in plain language, it states unequivocally one is not allowed in or near a building or residence used by a judge, juror, witness or court officer with the intent of influencing, etc. etc. etc.

Where is our vaulted Justice Department when scofflaws laugh at the U.S. Code and try to intimidate Justices of the Supreme Court by angrily marching in the front yards of their homes? Merrick Garland, a failed choice by Obama to join the Supreme Court, but Biden's choice for Attorney General of the Unites States, stands by and permits lawlessness supporting and/or creating political unrest. And the Supreme Court is forced to ask the State of Maryland to enforce the federal code. Unbelievable!

The U.S.A. is a land of law and order. Or, has it become a POLITICALLY SELECTIVE land of law and order? Where are our representatives when the Biden Administration supports indifference to 246 years of the Justice Department supporting law and order? And then, Biden has the temerity to berate the Supreme Court of the United States of America on national TV.

The time for leadership by our elected representatives is past due. As Ned Ryan, founder and CEO of the American Federation, stated recently, "The Biden Aministration is wrecking our country." As Benjamin Franklin is reported to have said, "Well Done is better than Well Said!"

Talking by this administration is growing a bit weary to most Americans. With 85% of adults stating the U.S.A. is on the wrong path (AP Poll), we, the constituents, are getting a bit fed up. We need action from our representatives now or find new, action-oriented representatives soon. Perhaps as soon as November.
