As printed in the Journal on Oct. 12, John Dyce was taking state Rep. Tim Ginter’s support of Donald Trump into question because he is a Christian minister and Trump made nasty comments about women.
First off, if John Dyce knows anything about Christianity, he should also know about forgiveness. I know I am not entirely the same person I was 10 years ago and I don’t know anyone who is. No human is proud of everything they have done or said in his or her life and everything should not be held against them. As a man who does respect women, I cannot say I like what Trump said, but let’s grow up here.
You want to question Tim Ginter’s Christianity, we can go at it on facts, but in this critical election, I believe there are far more serious issues at stake than a few people being insulted.
