1949-2025 EAST PALESTINE — Patricia E. Johnson, 76, passed away Nov. 21, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Health Center in Boardman following a lengthy illness. Patricia was born Oct. 27, 1949, in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late William and Lois Justison Smith. She was a lifelong resident of East Palestine and a 1968 graduate of East Palestine High School. Patricia went on to earn her bachelor’s in psychology from Kent State University in 1991. She worked as a social worker for CPS in Canton for 20 years before retiring in 2012.
