1945-2025 LISBON — Carol Ann Smith, 80, died at her home Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025. Born July 8, 1945 in Salem, she was a daughter of the late Harold N. and Volet (Mellinger) Smith. Carol owned and operated Smith’s Boarding Home in Lisbon for 26 years before retiring and moving to Las Vegas for 17 years where she worked in the dining room at the Star Dust Casino. A member of the First United Methodist Church, she enjoyed traveling in her motor home all over the country. She was a phenomenal cook and a devoted grandmother.
