(Weyant) Ward, formerly of Hanoverton, died Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Green Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Louisville with her family present to send her off to meet her loved ones in Heaven. Dorothy, the daughter of the late Valone V. (Bill) and Margaret “Peggy” (Vinsonhaler) Weyant was born September 10, 1934 at home in Akron, Ohio. (Esther) Christine Simms, 74, of Minerva passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Community Care Center of Alliance after a long battle with numerous health issues. She was born Sept. 22, 1947 the daughter of the late John and Kate (Herron) Wadsworth. She lived her entire life in Minerva. She retired from the Timken Company in 2006 after 30 years. She was an active member of the VFW Post #4120 Auxiliary and also served as Ohio’s first ever woman Kiwanis Club President. LISBON — Thomas “Tom” Bowman passed away peacefully in his home in Lisbon, Ohio on May 5, 2022 at the age of 92 after a very short illness. Tom was born in Toronto, Ohio on August 8, 1929 and graduated from Wintersville High School. Tom earned his B.S. degree in Accounting in 1971 by attending night school while raising his family and working construction during the day. He retired after 22 years as the Controller for Chester Hoist in Lisbon. He focused his life on his family and church.
