GUILFORD LAKE -- Terry William Freeman, 71, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Terry was born Oct. 14, 1954 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of the late Howard and Geraldine Ruth (Byrley) Freeman.
A 1973 graduate of Beaver Local High School, Terry owned Freeman's Insulation and Construction Company and in 2001 became an Ordained Minister of the Gospel in the Christian Welfare Church. He was also a board member of the Christian Heritage Fellowship Inc.
In his spare time, Terry enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading his Bible, Sharing God's word, and Wheelhorse Tractors.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Connie (Hickman) Freeman, whom he married Jan. 25, 1974; his children, Patty (Brian) Brown of Lisbon and Tim (Missy) Freeman of Gilbert, S.C.; his grandchildren, Kenzie (Nigel) Brown, Alexis (DJ) Freeman, Timothy (Ansley) Freeman Jr., Josiah Brown, Brian Brown Jr., Alicia (Bill) Rearley, and Jordon Brown; his great grandchildren, Na'Kiya Baldwin, Katelynn Brown, Evan Brown, Madison Brown, Gabby Storey, Joseph Storey, Braydon Rearley, Carson Rearley, Evelynn Rearley, Trinity (Clayton) Gourley, Lacie Brown, Annastacia Macolino, and Jaxson Brown; great-great-grandchildren, Madekai Arthur and Daniel Gourley. Terry is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Shirley Freeman; sisters, Pat Boley and Melody Peterson.
In addition to his parents, Terry was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Karen Freeman; brother, Randy Freeman; brother-in-law, Earl Boley; and brother-in-law, John Peterson.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026 at the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene, 505 N. Market St., Lisbon, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Flick officiating.
The family will receive family and friends from 4 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
