LISBON -- Michael David Perkins, 73, of Lisbon, died on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at Sunrise Homes, Lisbon.
He was born on July 31, 1953, in Salem, son of the late Richard and Carol Burton Perkins.
Michael was a graduate of Robert Bycroft and had an astounding memory. He lived at home with his parents until 2020 when he moved into Sunrise Homes in Lisbon.
Michael is survived by his sister, Linda (Melvin) Winters of Columbiana; brother, Burton (Heather) Perkins of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins and their extended families. He had a special bond with Aunt Leah.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Gretchen Marino and his grandparents, George and Mary Perkins and George and Frances Burton.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, 1 p.m. at the Sunrise Homes Lisbon, with Pastor Cyndi Midlick officiating.
A private burial service will take place for friends and family at Columbiana Cemetery, Columbiana at a later date.
A special thank you goes out to the staff and all the caregivers at Sunrise Homes for loving Michael the past several years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
