In loving memory of Angie Sue Spurlock-Mckenzie. Angie passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 11, 1971 in Loma Linda, California to Laura Moore and James Spurlock. Later Angie became close to her step-dad John Hale.
Angie leaves behind her children Zach McKenzie, Staci McKenzie and Cody Mckenzie to cherish her memory. Grandchildren include Kardel, Olive and Elaina, as well as an unborn granddaughter Zara. She leaves multiple nieces and nephews including Duallen Sanford, James Spurlock III and Dezarae Spurlock.
She is proceeded in death by her father James Spurlock and her brother James Spurlock Jr.
Angie most recently worked at Mountaineer Casino as a dealer. She loved crafting, making quilts and making anything with her hands. She had a great love for animals. She will be remembered as a kind and loving human being.
As to her wishes no services are to be held, but a memorial service to honor her life will be held at a later date.
