Patrick Mark Grant, lovingly known as "Pat," passed away peacefully surrounded by his children and closest family in Rockwall, Texas.
Born on May 9, 1952, in Columbiana, Ohio, Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ellen Grant, and his sister, Mickie Grant. He is survived by his brothers, Mike Grant and Robert Grant, and his sister, Marcia Shrout. He is also survived by his daughter, Lindsay Grant Moreau and her husband, Spencer, along with their children Beckham, Avery, and Ellis; his son, Adam Grant and his wife, Taylor, along with their daughter, Kennedy; and his daughter, Allie Grant.
Pat spent many years in the hardwood flooring industry, but those who knew him best would tell you that his greatest investments were made in people. A devoted father and faithful follower of Christ, he was actively involved in his church and played a meaningful role in his children's upbringing. He lived a life marked by adventure, travel, and a curiosity about the world around him, yet his greatest joy was found in the relationships he built and the family he loved so deeply.
Those who knew Pat will remember his gentle spirit, kind heart, and steady presence. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. His strength was found not in loud words or grand gestures, but in quiet acts of love, patience, and generosity. Pat's life reflected the faith he held dear, and his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace, free from pain, and in the presence of his Savior.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held in Columbiana, Ohio, in September 2026. Additional details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
His legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply, the lives he touched through his kindness, and the countless memories that will be cherished for years to come.
