LISBON -- Kathryn S. "Kathy" Lewis, 62, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 with her loving family by her side.
Kathy was born April 21, 1964 in East Liverpool, a daughter of Gerald E. Kidder and the late Wanda (Bragg) Kidder.
A 1982 graduate of Southern Local High School, Kathy had worked as a waitress at the former Heck's restaurant in Columbiana, the Morning Journal Newspaper, the former Carriage Hill Foods in Salem, and as an Independent Home Health Care Aide until she retired.
Kathy also loved animals and enjoyed volunteering for Angels for Animals. She also volunteered and was a past president of the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center. Kathy also loved to raise butterflies and had been a member of the Ladies' Bible study group for the past four years.
In addition to her father, Kathy is survived and will be deeply missed by her loving husband, David A. Lewis, whom she married June 7, 1997; brothers, Gerald "Jerry" (Joyce) Kidder and Jeffery (Kim) Kidder; nieces, Christy (Paul) Smith, Jordan Darrah, and Faith Kidder; nephew, James "JT" (Kristin) Lockhart, and Brandon Kidder; great nieces, Haleigh and Hannah Cunningham, great nephews, Jayden and Cayde Lockhart; great-great niece, Kendall Cunningham; and great-great nephew, Emmett Vincent.
Kathy was also preceded in death by a sister, Darlena Kidder.
Funeral services will be held at 12pm, Friday, July 17, 2026 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Kevin Carson officiating. Private burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 11am until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Kathy's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 979 Tibbetts Wick Rd., Girard, Ohio 44420 or to your local animal shelter.
