Gregory A. Morris

EAST PALESTINE — Gregory A. Morris, 72, passed away July 7, 2026, at his home with family by his side.

Greg was born March 22, 1954, in Salem, son of Clem and Maxalee (Hazelwood) Morris.

He was a 1973 graduate of East Palestine High School. Greg then enlisted in the US Air Force, where he proudly served 18 years and retired as a Tech Sergeant. After retirement, he continued working in HVAC for the military in civil service for a number of years.

Greg is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jeanne (Murray) Morris; two sons, Darryl (Edith) Morris of East Palestine and Scott Morris of Monaca, Pa.; a brother, Larry (Jennifer) Morris; a sister, Linda (Jeff) Flowers; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Darryl and Roger Morris.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Pastor Ryan Flowers officiating. Military honors will be accorded by East Palestine American Legion Post #31. The family will receive friends prior to service from noon to 1 p.m.
