EAST PALESTINE -- Daralee Graham, 83, passed away July 13, 2026, at Caprice Health Care Center in North Lima.
Daralee was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Youngstown, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Mason) Norman.
She was a lifelong resident of East Palestine, and a 1960 graduate of East Palestine High School. Daralee attended beauty college in 1982 and worked at the Nail Garden in North Lima until 1990, when she joined her husband driving truck for Ted Mesmer Jr. until 2006. Daralee and her husband Wayne enjoyed playing golf together at East Palestine Country Club, which they were members of. She also joined the Tuesday morning Brittain league and the Friday night couples league. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star #361 and a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in East Palestine.
Daralee is survived by two daughters, Dawnalee (Jim) McCauley of East Palestine and Cindy Sauerwein of North Lima; and a sister-in-law, Bev Norman; three grandchildren, Jimmy (Stacy) McCauley, Leann (Dave) Wild and Spike (Chelsie) Sauerwein; four great-grandchildren, Avery and Colton McCauley, Piper and Tessa Sauerwein and Ellie Wild as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Wayne Graham, on Dec. 19, 2025, a brother, Charles Norman Jr., and two sisters, Margaret Gates and Viola "Susie" Noel.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Edwards officiating. A private burial will be held at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
