HANOVERTON -- Benjamin Robert Chetock Sr., 84, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 21, 1942 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Steven J. and Bernice K. (Olesky) Chetock.
Ben retired after working at GM Lordstown for 30 years.
A musician, Ben was a drummer in several bands. He was a life member of the Lisbon Eagles.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Edwards) Chetock; two children: Roxanne (Dwight Wilson) Chetock and Benjamin (Tiffany) Chetock Jr. There are four grandchildren: Hayden Wilson, Garrett, Curtis, and Luke Chetock; and his brothers Julius and William Chetock.
At his request, there will be no public service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Weber Funeral Home.
