Donny J. Bush

EAST PALESTINE — Donny J. Bush, 67, passed away June 20, 2026, at his residence in East Palestine.

Donny was born March 24, 1959, in Salem, Ohio, son of the late Harold and Shirley Lambright Bush.

He was a 1978 graduate of East Palestine High School, where he excelled at cross country and football. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, where he served as a staff sergeant. He was a Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed bowling.

Donny is survived by two sons, Steven Bush of Hummelstown, Pa., Kevin (Britany) Bush of Hanover, Pa.; two grandsons, Mason and Dylan; two brothers, Scott (Susan) Bush and Brian (Stephanie) Bush; two sisters, Vicky Kline and Debbie Keller; and his longtime best friend, Joey (Barbara) Raniolo.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home. He will be interred at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford with military honors at a later date.
