Paula Lee (Doll) Morris

1941-2026

LISBON — Paula Lee (Doll) Morris passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 27, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 3, 1941, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the only child of William and Lucille (Huff) Doll.

She graduated from Beaver Local’s first graduating class in 1959.

Paula was lucky enough to stay home with her children until they started school. She then went to work at Salem Community Hospital for the next 36 years registering patients, a job she truly loved.

When her family was alive, they spent a lot of time playing cards. She enjoyed making Christmas cookies for all the family and just loved seeing all of them, watching them have fun, and they could always make her laugh.

Paula always watched Ohio State play, she loved them, and got to go to one game, which was one of her favorite memories. She always cheered for the Browns and was hoping for a Super Bowl win.

Paula was a member of Lisbon Methodist Church for around 70 years and served in several offices there over the years. Paula and Clyde always loved and had animals, and believed you should rescue the fur babies, they rescued many animals over the years. Paula still has her cat, Socks, who is 16.

Paula was preceded in death by both of her parents, along with her husband, Clyde, whom she married on June 24, 1960, after 43 years of marriage; both of their sons, Gary and Gregory, from illnesses.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Fast, who was a big help to her mother; daughters-in-law, Lori (John Barnhart) Morris, and Linda Frischkorn, who both called to check on her or stopped to see her multiple times a week. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Amanda (Brad) Wilson, Morgan (Jazmine) Morris-Smith, Joshua Morris, Ryann (Josiah) Rouse, Cody Fast, and Kelsie Fast, as well as 11 great-grandchildren, Camryn Kinser, Leah Kinser, Delaney Morris-Rouse, Lyla Rouse, Valin Rouse, Abigail Wilson, Raylee Pizzedaz, Steven Spargo, Elora “Gemma” Rouse, Kaden Morris, and Eleanor Wilson.
