Miles Michael Ketchum

1965-2026

LISBON — Miles Michael Ketchum, 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Miles was born Aug. 15, 1965 in Salem, a son of Linda C. (Jones) Ketchum and the late Miles C. Ketchum and had lived all of his life in the area.

A 1983 graduate of Southern Local High School, Miles owned and operated Grass Roots Landscape Company and also had a short lived career in comedy as standup comedian, Milo Cartwright.

He was a member of Grants Hill Church, was one the founders of the Lisbon Little Blue Devils Football program; coached football and softball; was an avid motorcyclist and president of two motorcycle clubs; and was active with ATG.

Miles also proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

His wife, Jane (Pierce) Ketchum, whom he married Sept. 12, 1986, preceded him in death on June 22, 2023. He was also preceded in death by his grandchildren, Samuel Blaine “Sam” Crowl, Truly Lynette Crowl, and Hogan Neal Crowl.

In addition to his mother, Linda, Miles is survived and will be dearly missed by his five children, Miles Andrew Ketchum, Katie (Caleb) Crowl, Emery (Victoria) Ketchum, Shelby (Jeff) Peaco, and Lauren (Lorenzo Sabella) Ketchum; grandchildren, Junabee, Temperance, Liam, Percy, River, and Ryder; his siblings, Jill (Tom) Halligan and Damon (Amy) Ketchum; his special friend, Wendy Mustake; several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

Following his wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest beside his wife, Jane at the Lisbon Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
