Carol Lee Earl

1939-2026

LISBON — Carol Lee Earl, 86, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home, Deanne and Paul Bradley, in Lisbon, Ohio.

Carol was a very sweet and loving lady and will be sadly missed by all. She was born Aug. 9, 1939, in Salem, the daughter of Carl and Vida Swindell Kelm.

Carol was a 1957 graduate of Leetonia High School. She worked several years as the head cook for Washingtonville school system. She loved the students and staff.

Her husband, Glenn Earl, and Carol were married on May 14, 1959. Sadly, Glenn preceded her in death on November 13, 2008.

After retiring she sold produce for neighbors and friends out of their garage. Carol loved meeting new people and making new friends. Her and Glenn loved listening to country music and dancing the two step.

In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting, she made afghans and hundreds of pairs of slippers and gave them all away. Later on, she made lap robes for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was a member. Another passion she had was raising monarch butterflies.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Deanne (Paul) Bradley; daughter-in-law, Debbie Earl; four grandchildren, Daniel (Victoria) Earl, Kristin (Kurt) Velovitch, Bethany (James Ivey) Earl and Lisa (Matt) Sacher; five great-grandchildren, JD Ivey, Thatcher, Maverick and Channing Earl and Ember Velovitch; a brother, Kenny (Judy) Kelm; a sister, Judy Leonard; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving, daughter-in-law Diana Earl; stepson Harry (Diane) Earl; six step grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Glenn “Bud;” stepson, Jack; sister, Ella Maye; and two brothers, Bob and Donnie.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Leetonia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at noon at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Leetonia, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia.
