Patricia ‘Patty’ Seachman

1958-2026

COLUMBIANA — Patricia “Patty” Seachman, 67, of Columbiana, passed away at home on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

She was born on July 2, 1958, in Salem, the daughter of the late Edward and Juanita Gibson Curl.

Patty was a graduate of Columbiana High School and received her bachelor’s degree from YSU where she also retired as the assistant budget director. She was a dog lover who also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Mike and spending time with her family. Patty was a kind person who loved everyone and whom everyone loved in return. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Seachman, whom she married on Feb. 24, 1990; her stepdaughter, Tricia Lynn (Dean) Moore of Denver, Colo.; stepson, Steven Michael (Kristin) Seachman of Davidson, N.C.; brother, William Curl of Warsaw, Ind.; three grandchildren, Cadence Moore, Liliana Seachman, and Grady Seachman. Also surviving are several beloved nieces and nephews.

Patty was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd “Dave” George.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Aaron Hurd officiating.

Patty will be laid to rest at Columbiana Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Patty’s memory to Mercy Health Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Road, Youngstown, OH 44514.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
