COLUMBIANA — Judy Kay Bryan, 86, of Columbiana, died on Monday, April 13, 2026, at her home in Columbiana.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1939, in Lisbon, daughter of the late Walter J. and Mary Davidson Kampfer.
Judith had worked as a teacher for Lisbon and Southern Local and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana. At the church she was an elder, deacon and Sunday schoolteacher. She volunteered with the host program at Crestview, Headstart and was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.
Judith is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Victor Bryan, whom she married on Aug. 28, 1960; a daughter, Mary (Ken Lay) Bryan of Cincinnati; two sons, Scott (Amy) Bryan of Louisville and James (Lorie) Bryan of Chester, WV; five grandchildren, Emily, Garrick, Julie, Leon and Torie and three great-grandchildren, Posy, Bea and George and a sister-in-law, Marge Kampfer of Columbiana.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Chloe Lucas; a sister, Patricia MacAleese; and a brother, Keith Kampfer.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana with Pastor Fritz Nelson officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
