Larry Kibler Sr.

1953-2026

COLUMBIANA – Larry Kibler Sr., 72, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Larry was born April 24, 1953, in Columbiana, a son of the late Willis and Carol Simpson Kibler, and was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a truck driver for nearly 50 years, logging countless miles as he traveled across the country, a career he took great pride in and one that allowed him to see much of the United States.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and staying busy. Larry was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and rarely missed watching a game. A natural handyman, he could fix just about anything and was especially skilled at small engine repairs.

Larry also enjoyed spending time outdoors, keeping an eye on the weather and chopping wood whenever he had the chance.

Larry leaves to forever cherish his precious memory his children, Amanda (Tim) Kinter of Southington, Larry Kibler of Niles, Melissa Merwin of Mineral Ridge, and Stacy (Marcelo) Schiavoni of Salineville; grandchildren, Ethan Kibler, Callie Kibler, Adalyn Kinter, Ariya Kinter, Abigail Kinter, Marky Schiavoni, Michael (Alyssa) Merwin, and O’Reiley Merwin; and a brother, Ron (Young) Kibler.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Kibler.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2026, at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm St., Columbiana.

Private interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Austintown.
