Fanchon I. Chronister

1928-2026

EAST LIVERPOOL — Fanchon Irene (Mullen) Chronister, 97, of East Liverpool, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

She was born July 28, 1928, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Archibald Augustus Aloysius and Frances (Dunn) Mullen. She graduated in 1946 from East Liverpool High School and married the love of her life, Phillip H. Chronister, in 1952. Together they raised ten children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip H. Chronister, on March 6, 2002.

Survivors include her children: Marcus O. (Brenda) Chronister of Hammondsville, Eric F. (Linda) Chronister of East Liverpool, Craig P. Chronister of East Liverpool, Kevin A. Chronister of Wellsville, Ann Elizabeth (Timothy) Miller of Lisbon, Dr. Amy M. (Brian) Brooks of Linesville, Pa., David H. (Sally) Chronister of East Liverpool, Susan K. (Joseph) Vorisek of Conneautville, Pa., Thomas M. Chronister of Florida, and Matthew T. Chronister at home. In addition she is survived by 32 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Holy Trinity Parish, 235 W. 5th St., East Liverpool, OH 43920, with Father Bala Marneni presiding. Burial will be at the family cemetery.

A luncheon reception will be held following interment at 14533 East Liverpool Road, East Liverpool, OH 43920, to share fellowship and memories. Please feel free to join us.
