Timothy H. Powers

1956-2026

EAST PALESTINE — Timothy H. Powers, 69, of East Palestine, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at his home in East Palestine.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1956, in New Brighton, Pa., son of the late Paul and Martha Jane Linzey Powers.

Timothy was a member of the Carpenters Union in Seattle and Ohio. He worked for many years at A.P. O’Horo, Youngstown, building bridges throughout the area.

Timothy is survived by three brothers, his twin brother, Thomas A. Powers of East Palestine, David (Denise) Powers of East Palestine and Mark (Cynthia) Powers of East Palestine, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Glenview Cemetery, East Palestine, with Mark McTrustry officiating.
