Patricia L. Cunningham

1942-2026

SALEM — Patricia L. Cunningham, 84, of Salem, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.

Mrs. Cunningham was born Jan. 23, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Richard and Mary McGowan Genge, and had lived in the area all of her life. She had been employed as a phlebotomist at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown for several years.

Her husband, Richard Cunningham, whom she married on Feb. 1, 1963, preceded her in death on May 29, 2008.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Dawn (James) Dailey of Salisbury, N.C.; two sons, Victor (Tarianne) Cunningham and Michael (Tracy) Cunningham, both of Lordstown; five grandchildren, Kassandra (Zachary) Wetzel, Kristopher Pelton, Jessica Cunningham, Jordan (Amber) Walls, and Riley Cunningham; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, where Pastor Kari Lankford will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home.
