John M. Tice

1945-2026

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio — John M. Tice, 80, of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at his home with his wife by his side.

John was born in East Liverpool on March 25, 1945, a son of the late Ralph and Georgia (Jones) Tice. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. John was a veteran of the Army proudly serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for Crucible Steel until they closed then moved to Arizona where he worked as an electrician until his retirement. John enjoyed being a part of the breakfast club, a group of men that would meet at local restaurants for breakfast. He also enjoyed doing puzzles. Most importantly he was a loving husband.

Preceding John in death were his brother Clifford Tice; sister Margaret Young and nephew Frank Young.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, whom he married Sept. 1, 1972, Leslie (Curran) Tice.

Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. officiated by Father Jon Coventry. Burial at Riverview Cemetery.
