Sherry Shetler
1957-2026
Sherry Shetler of East Palestine died on Jan. 27, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, following a lengthy illness.
Sherry was born on Feb. 5, 1957 in Chautauqua, N.Y., a daughter of the late Raymond Gerard and Mildred (Siecker) Gerard. Having lived all her life in the area, Sherry was a 1979 graduate of Blackhawk High School and was a homemaker. She loved doing various crafting projects, had a passion for drawing, art of all kinds and was a lover of music.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dennis Shetler; two daughters, Cheyenne Murray of Warren and Wendy Shetler of East Palestine; as well as two grandchildren, Haley and Evelyn.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by several brothers.
As per her wishes no services have been planned.
Linsley-Royal Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
